Little Layers Co prints toys and playthings in Edmonton. Shop finished pieces, or send a schematic you already have and we'll print that file. The price comes straight from it: $0.05 a gram of material, and $1 an hour of print time.

Party favours, classroom sets, a matching pair. Same file, printed as many times as you need.
Your schematic
Send an STL, 3MF or STEP you already have. We print that file as it is. We don't model, redesign or invent a shape for you.
Made to be played with
PLA, finished by hand, meant for small hands. If a piece arrives wrong, tell us and we'll reprint it.

Print & Collect
Send the schematic. We'll print that.
Bring a model you already have — STL, 3MF or STEP. We print the file as you sent it. We don't design, redraw or turn a sketch into a model.
Send the file
Email the schematic, say how many you want, and pick a colour if you care. A photo of the slicer screen is enough if the file is large.
We read the file
Material weight and print time both come from the schematic. We don't estimate them by eye.
The price is the file
$0.05 CAD for every gram of material, plus $1 CAD for every hour of printing. A 40 g toy that takes 3 hours is $5.

Collect it in Edmonton, or have it delivered in Edmonton and the surrounding area at $2 per kilometre.

About the shop
A toy shop that happens to own a printer.
Little Layers prints toys and playthings in Edmonton. The pieces in the shop are ours. Everything else starts with a schematic you already have: an STL, a 3MF, a STEP. We print that file. We don't design a new one from a description or a sketch.
The price is the same every time, and it comes from the file itself. We take the material weight and the print time out of the schematic and charge $0.05 CAD a gram and $1 CAD an hour. A heavier, longer print costs more. A small, quick one costs less. There is no design fee, because there is no design step.
Print & Collect is how it leaves the shop: you pick it up in Edmonton, or we deliver in Edmonton and the surrounding area at $2 a kilometre. Every piece is cleaned by hand before it goes in a box, and if something arrives wrong, tell us and we'll reprint it.
